Where will we be born again?

My mind is racing forward. Contemplating things at a speed that logic and sanity cannot catch up with. This happens once in a while when the stream of irksome questions like ‘how’ ‘when’ ‘why’ start to flood my head. Although, I can’t help but wonder, my brain already comes up with some material…..

One thing’s certain for sure, we didn’t choose where we were to be born in this world and to whom. So who is deciding all of this? Is the future already made? Some kind of path that’s already set and we have follow? That’s exactly what they call destiny.

However if we were to assume yet again, this destiny, this journey of ours that’s already written and set in stone, to be true, it must have been written by someone. God or a creator who created us. Somebody who has the power over this. Then what was the basis for it?

However my mind came up with another theory, one day, while I was purposefully blocking the path of an ant that was carrying its food on top of itself. Maybe the ant had no idea about anything more huge than itself, sure it could sense my intervention, but for the ant, its scope was only limited to that small piece of food for it’s survival and has absolutely no idea about the greater aspects like humans or what they even look like. Not to mention buildings, monuments, the planets or galaxies. While I tried to block it’s path towards me, I also tried redirecting it to go elsewhere. I felt like I could control the ant. The ant would have no idea, it might try a few times to go its way and then give up. Because the world for us is like the universe for the ant. And it might not even know about it. Might not even wonder how large this universe is. It needs that food as small as its size and that is all.
Life began on its own and that’s a little hard for me to take in. Sure many people have theorized saying it has evolved. But has anyone witnessed that we really morphed from apes? Changes only happened centuries ago, do you believe there would still be bigger, drastic changes in the biology of humans further centuries that are yet to come?
Do believe that we might just be just a science experiment or playhouse doll governed by someone greater, like the ant? For all we know we could just be a program in a mythical world that is just an illusion.

Just like we have control over Mario (from the famous game) doesn’t that indicate someone might have control over us? After every death that Mario faces isn’t he reborn in that same world of his or the game that is, for us.

So how might we think of something further when there are astonishing changes before us, probably the ones that our minds still have not come up with?
Science can explain the process, but mostly when we have the answers. Only when the result is in front of us, or by carrying out experiments by trials and errors so as to draw a conclusion from.

There’s enough room out there to have had us placed anywhere. Some say parallel universe exists where its hard for me to believe there would be someone exactly like me, but never the less I have no doubt there is another habitable place, where there are others like us,

What is the purpose then for us to be here or anywhere for that matter? If all are to be perished, all the works and creations to be destroyed by the natural forces, to never know the truth and to never realize what we were made for in the first place?

All I know is we woke up, got on with the world by following quietly and keeping these questions to ourselves. Because we never know if we’d get the answers to this or not,
ever.

Nice, when my mind races off like that. I’ll start on a thought about cookies; then, I’ll be contemplating what coexistence with dinosaurs must have been like. I figure the people that lived just as dinosaurs where going extinct must have had a lot less fears, but maybe they just filled the void with dumb fears.

Yes, sad part is we can only imagine. The truth of the past or what the future holds for us is what we’ll never know. Thank you for commenting and letting me have a glimpse of your thoughts..

    1. There is no answer to these questions. But that’s great, because it means it’s up to you to give it your own! 🙂

I really enjoy your writing style. You’re level of detail is fantastic but not so in depth that the reader gets lost or bored. I will definitely be returning to your site.

  5. Oh goodness – we are so alike in our thinking process. I literally get lost in my head and enjoy it so much sometimes – the contemplation. Finally was able to click and come through to your blog after trying fruitlessly all afternoon – now my mind is happy contemplating your post..nice one!

  6. I read a book along similar lines once – the pinhole in the chair leg theory – and our galaxy is just that – the pinhole on something much, much larger. On a lighter note, I’ve already put in my request for next time – Goldi Hawn’s hair, Madonna’s figure, Einstein’s brain and Shakespeare’s way with words – then see me hit the Amazon #1 slot. 🙂

Such a thought provoking post! Did you ever see “The Truman Show” with Jim Carey? I have wondered/worried for years that maybe something like that is real. I believe a lot of things are fate. Not necessarily predetermined, but maybe something like it. Not many people know this, but I leave a lot of decions up to a coin toss. My motto is “Tails never Fails”.

I like this post. I do this many times. Stop and wonder what, where, if, how, etc etc. Thanks for it. To my thinking, there is this point when we realize (or not really) that we will leave one day without in fact being aware of so many answers, and especially, the ultimate one, whichever is for each one of us. We, human beings have a purpose. Or we don’t. We say that there is a purpose, that animals have a purpose and they accomplish it: to keep the balance in the biosfere, to give life, to this, that, etc. From an egg comes a bird and the bird eats the placenta, and the bird knows the bird has to open the carcass. We don’t know anyting of what we need to do when we are born. We need our mother constantly. We are not aware. We are never aware. We can evolve by intuition, and maybe this is what we think it is our purpose. But an ant, for example, you don’t know if the ant is aware or not of the universe, of its purpose, or what surrounds it on a deeper (to us) level. Maybe we are not smart enough to understand animals’s behaviour or what is going on inside of them, since we don’t know ourselves what is going on really out there, or even here. Purpose is a rationalized word and thought and feeling that is ours. Do animals have something similar? Scarabs seem to pray under the moonlight in mass while they roll and roll and we just wonder. Are they really doing something that we cannot comprehend?

We realize everything inside of us and around us and beyond us the way we can, the way we have been “made” and like this we try to understand everything, even an ant’s behaviour. but maybe we have no idea really of what is going on inside the ant. And maybe the ant knows more about many aspects that we can’t answer or even that we ignore they exist.

To me, there is a real meaning why we don’t know. Or maybe we do but we do not realize we do. It is a wonderful thing, but also eerie, we feel lost, and we die and we die still lost. Do we? Eternal questions that we will never, perhaps, discern its answers. We are the eternal questioners, no matter what, there is a meaning for all this. We are not the most adequate to know, perhaps. But it is so great to see posts like this one! Keep up with it, it is light even if it seems it is just questions without answer. I love how your blog looks. Very special. And beautiful to me. Thanks!

    1. Thank you so much for sharing your perspective. You have no idea how your words painted another dimension to this topic in my mind! Although no answers, everyone has their own theory. And to read it, to read everyone’s opinion is truly amazing! Different views and each even more compelling! Thank you for going through, I very much appreciate your compliments!
